We’re proud to share that Zeroo Health’s survey on healthy aging in Canada has been featured on The Globe and Mail website, through a news release distributed by CNW.
For us, this is an opportunity to share a purpose that sits at the heart of Zeroo Health: helping people across Canada maintain their health and wellbeing as they grow older.
Our purpose: supporting healthy aging in Canada
At Zeroo Health, we believe healthy aging starts with understanding people’s everyday experiences. How do they feel as they get older? What changes do they notice in their energy and wellbeing? What matters most to their quality of life?
As a Canadian longevity and supplement brand based in Vancouver, our purpose extends beyond the products we make. We want to contribute to a better understanding of healthy aging in Canada and make that conversation more accessible.
Our survey is one step toward that goal, giving adults aged 50 and older a chance to share their experiences.
What our survey found
The survey included 351 adults living in Canada, ranging in age from 50 to 93, with an average age of about 71.
Among respondents:
-
92% rated their health as good or excellent.
-
62% reported at least one chronic health condition.
-
77% said they had less energy than ten years earlier.
These findings highlight how people can feel healthy while also managing ongoing health challenges.
Physical activity showed more consistent links to wellbeing than age alone. Respondents who were active more frequently tended to report better overall health and more stable energy.
The survey was voluntary and based on self-reported answers. Its findings describe the participants, do not represent all older adults in Canada, and cannot establish cause and effect.
A wider conversation about healthy aging
Having our survey featured on The Globe and Mail website helps bring these experiences to a wider audience.
We’re grateful to everyone who participated and proud to continue building Zeroo Health around a purpose that matters to us: supporting healthier aging and a better quality of life for people across Canada.
